Maria Heredia has served as a Trustee for the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District since 2019. With four decades of public school experience, including 30 years in community colleges, Ms. Heredia brings extensive expertise to her role. She has held leadership positions as a department chair, academic senate member, and key committee member in curriculum and planning. A passionate advocate for education and community service, Ms. Heredia has been active in organizations like Centro Legal and La Raza Board in Oakland.
